SEE JESUS

THERE ARE so many things in life that can distract us from our main purpose of being followers of Jesus Christ.  These distractions can have varying affects upon our daily walk with Jesus, as well as our being able to have a positive influence upon others.  It is therefore very important that we encourage one another to "keep the main thing the main thing."  For the Christian our main source of life, strength and ability to be "a light in a dark world"  (Matthew 5:14-16) is to see Jesus.  Yes, Jesus is the Author of salvation, our life, our day-to-day journey.  How effective we are in that journey is very dependent on how well, how clearly we can see Jesus.

RIGHT NOW,

* Is He bigger than your circumstances?
* Is He the Provider of your needs?
* Is He the Director of your affairs (all those things that affect us)?
* Is He a living reality in your believing and faith?
* Is His Word alive in your heart?
* Are you filled with His Holy Spirit?
* Are you accomplishing those things He has called you to?
* Are you releasing His gifts and anointing out of your life?

AS JESUS HIMSELF is the Giver of all these things to us, it is vital that we SEE HIM actively involved in all we do.  Without a clear, personal vision of Jesus, each of us will struggle with giving a positive answer to the above questions.  Yet each of them (positively answered) enables us to fulfil the purpose of God for us today.  Far too often we try to live the Christian life in our own strength, and it is very hard to see Jesus when we are struggling along in our own strength.  In fact life becomes a disappointment and a discouragement.

BE ENCOURAGED RIGHT NOW to LOOK UP AND SEE JESUS.  No matter how difficult things are, or how bad you feel about yourself - LOOK UP AND SEE JESUS.  Just one glimpse of Him changes so many things.  When you see Jesus through the eye of the Holy Spirit and faith, you see all kinds of possibilities and hope for the future.  The wonderful thing about Jesus is that He is always there - He is always waiting for us.  He never ever leaves us nor forsakes us.
Let us respond to Him now - Stop!  Look!  Listen! to what He would say to each of us individually.  He just loves to have our attention, the kind of attention that focuses on and sees Jesus more than anyone or anything else in life.  He is waiting right now - can you see Him?  There is none so Beautiful, so "Everything" as JESUS OUR LORD.   -   Rodney Francis

Please Pray This Prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I am so conscious of my need to see more of You.  Help me to clearly focus on Who You are in my life.  Help me to lay aside all the distractions and negative circumstances that so easily discourage me.  I want to see beyond those natural things and SEE JESUS clearly.  I refocus my eyes and attention on You right now, Lord Jesus.  By faith I thank You that You are right here, right now, for my every need, my sustenance and my strength for whatever lies ahead for me.  In Jesus' name I thank You for being You and for Your unfailing love to me, Amen."
