God Has Victory For You!

GOD HAS VICTORY FOR YOU!

By Rodney W. Francis

“But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”

(1 Corinthians 15:57, NKJV).

More than anything else in life we need to be able to know, walk and live in the victory which Jesus Christ has purchased for you ~ in every situation. The full and complete victory was purchased for us at Calvary when Jesus Christ took upon Himself our sins and failures. It is not enough to be set free from sin alone ~ our old sinful nature has to be replaced with Christ’s Victorious nature. “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27); the possibilities are endless! He has provided so much for us in His death, burial and resurrection that really we have no excuse for not living in His complete victory day by day to the glory of God. The Lord Himself has removed every obstacle out of our way; for it is His will that we learn to know the full blessings provided for us in Christ. The only true victory is “through our Lord Jesus Christ.” As we daily seek to walk close to Him He teaches us the secrets of keeping His victory flowing in our heart!

Let me share with you another mighty Scripture: “Now thanks be to God Who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses (“manifests”) the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing” (2 Corinthians 2:14-15). Think upon this statement for a moment ~ GOD ALWAYS CAUSES US TO TRIUMPH IN CHRIST! Not sometimes, but always!

  • God has a complete and continual victory for us in Christ! Praise His name!

You do not need to live a defeated life any longer. You may have problems in your home, at work, even with yourself, but if you will lay hold on the promises of God’s Word to you, He will bring you through into His complete victory. Often we feel, “If only the circumstances were different, I would be freer for the things of the Lord; I could live in more victory.” Let me remind you that God’s promises are not limited to circumstances. Rather, if we really do desire His victory in every situation, then He will change US, to enable US to conquer our circumstances ~ “through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

  • He always causes us to triumph!
  • He is the God of Victory! Hallelujah!

We cannot blame God for our failures; but we can thank Him that we do not need to stay in our failures!

God has provided us with mighty spiritual weapons which, when used, will “pull down strongholds, casting down arguments (“reasonings”) and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

  • If we do not use these weapons that the Lord has given us, then WE will be brought into captivity.
  • We will lose the victory Christ died to give us.
  • Those things which have defeated us in times past, can themselves be defeated as we lay hold on the victory that is rightfully ours through Jesus Christ.
  • Do not let the enemy of your soul rob you any longer!
  • Claim complete victory which God wants you to have and enjoy ~ and walk daily in it, giving glory to His name!
  • GOD ALWAYS CAUSES US TO TRIUMPH IN CHRIST!

If we are to accomplish anything real for the Kingdom of God, then it is very important that we know how to stand in the victory of the Cross.

  • To be an overcomer, we must overcome!
  • If we are not an overcomer, it is because we are overcome!
  • God will always cause us to triumph ~ when we will let Him triumph in us!
  • Let “the Christ in you, the hope of glory” shine in and through your life!

The Apostle Paul is a man loved by multitudes of Christians the world over, because of the inspired writings he has left us for our growth in grace in the Christian walk. Very few people, however, are prepared to live the life he did: the trials, persecutions, hardships, buffetings of Satan, etc. (2 Corinthians 11:23-33). It seems he faced every kind of opposition anyone could ever face; and yet he learned to live in Christ’s victory in whatever state he was in. His heart attitude was not that of struggling to keep the victory ~ rather he boldly declares: “For I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased (“live humbly”), and I know how to abound (“live in prosperity”). Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME” (Philippians 4:11-13).

Paul learned how to turn every situation (whether impossible or otherwise) into victory and contentment! To be content in circumstances like that surely speaks of the victory in that man’s life. But he did not stop at that! He goes on to tell us that he could do all things through Christ Who strengthened him! Paul is telling us that there are absolutely no circumstances at all in life which can rob us of Christ’s victory; unless of course WE allow them.

I well remember the time I spent an evening with Brother Yun (known as “the heavenly man”). He had suffered so much for his faith while imprisoned in China. Both his legs were broken when the Holy Spirit told him to get up and walk out of the prison. As he obeyed, his legs were healed, the doors swung open and he walked free. Even though he had suffered so much for his faith, his face glowed with a radiance I have not seen in anyone else. It was a real privilege to spend that time with him. In spite of his circumstances, he experienced God’s wonderful victory to set him free!

In Romans 8, Paul again reveals the complete and total victory which is ours through Jesus Christ. We can name anything we like; but he was persuaded that IN ALL THINGS WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS THROUGH CHRIST THAT LOVED US ~ MORE THAN CONQUERORS! The strongest onslaught the enemy can bring against us, we are able to effectively conquer, with plenty in reserve!

  • More than conquerors through Jesus Who loved us, and still loves us!
  • This is the kind of victory that God has for those who love Him and who believe the promises of His Word!
  • We cannot go under for going over when we are walking and living in God’s victory that He has provided for us!
  • Is this true for you?
  • Are you believing what Jesus Christ has purchased for you ~ total victory ~ more than what your circumstances are trying to dictate to you?

With Christ’s victory in our heart, we cannot help but attain those things that He has called us to, and to be used of Him to bring forth much praise, honour and glory to His name. May this message be your daily experience to enjoy God’s Total Victory for YOU!

  • You can overcome every obstacle in life to be the person Jesus has called you to be.
  • He is no respecter of persons;
  • He loves you as much as anyone else on this earth. Hallelujah!

God bless you super-abundantly as you yield your all to Him day by day. He holds all the keys to your life and future. Trust Him fully and see what He will do for you. God bless you!
