“The Word of God is not bound”
(2 Timothy
2:9). That means that . .
When
the great Apostle Paul penned these words he was in prison for his faith.
Yet Paul emphatically declared that, though a man may be incarcerated
for his faith, yet God’s Word can never be constrained in this manner. How
wonderful are the works of our God. How
amazing are the new technologies that allow the life-changing Word of the
Lord to be heard in every country of the world.
When godless men declare, “There is no God!
God is not permitted in our society!” it doesn’t deter the True,
Living God one little bit. He
implants His plan of inventions into the minds of creative men and women in
order for His Word to go forth into all the world, even into prison cells.
How extremely thankful are the millions of people around the world who have and are coming to know the True God through the medium of television and the Internet. All around the globe people are becoming tuned in to these forms of communication in order to hear the truth, to know the truth and then to experience the truth for themselves in their own daily lives. In the Biblical Book of Daniel these words are recorded concerning the end of the age in which we live . . . “But
you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, (the Holy Book) even to
the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be
increased” “Go, Daniel! For the words are closed up and sealed until the end-time” (Daniel 12:9). Daniel had been given extremely detailed prophecies concerning “the time of the end,” and the Lord God was making it known to him that, until those very days, the prophecies wouldn’t be fully understood. Friends, we live in those days! Those days of which Daniel prophesied are upon us right now. Mankind is travelling the globe – we can cross the world in one day! Even the planets and realms in outer space are being reached with the greatest of ease, and, who could not possibly notice that there is an e-x-p-l-o-s-i-o-n of knowledge throughout the world. The
Lord God revealed to the prophet, Daniel, that “.
. . there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a
nation, until that time. And at that time Your people shall be delivered,
every one that shall be found written in the book” (Daniel
12:1). The
book that Daniel is referring to is called The Book Of Life, as recorded in
Revelation, the very last book of the Bible. “And
I saw the dead, the small and the great, stand before God. And books were
opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead
were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according
to their works” (Revelation 20:12). “And
if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast
into the lake of fire (hell)” (Revelation
20:15). “And
if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will
take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and
from the things which have been written in this Book” (Revelation
22:19).
