Prayer Support Letter

We are living in momentus days. While the world appears to be “falling to pieces” it is time for the Christian Church to “get it together” in God. There will be many “happenings” taking place this year and it is very important that we remain focussed on Jesus Christ Himself, and not be side-tracked by other things. The religious world is very active, but for the born-again, Holy Spirit-filled believer, that is not where our focus should be. Jesus is alive to lead and guide us through all the obstacles that are placed in the way of Christians. Therefore it is vital that we have a good and living relationship with Jesus Himself, so we can “keep one step ahead of the enemy” that pursues us. Know that we have the victory in Jesus Christ!

These are also days of great opportunity for the Gospel and we need to be reminded often that our mission here on earth is still the Great Commission of Jesus to take His Message to the ends of the earth (Mark 16:15-20). Every Christian can be involved in this. “Do you not say, There are still four months and then comes the harvest? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest” (John 4:35, NKJV). “Therefore pray (“make it a priority”) the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest” (Matthew 9:38). These are the words of Jesus. That is the cry of His heart. Do we not want to satisfy the cry of Jesus’ heart? He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). None of us can say we are not called to help gather in the harvest. Jesus has chosen you, and He has chosen me. He has ordained and commissioned us to go and do it. Pray and then obey! I have been in ministry for over 50 years, yet right at this time I feel an urgency in my spirit that we must get the Gospel Message out to the nations. I am burdened to pray for preachers everywhere, that they will have a greater revelation and understanding of the New Covenant Jesus and proclaim Him in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is not a time for Christians to be “playing church,” but to “be obedient to the heavenly vision/calling” (Acts 26:16-19). Do you know the vision and calling of God for your life? It is important that every Christian knows his/her calling and is committed to fulfilling it to the glory of God. There is nothing more satisfying or fulfilling than to know the will of God and to be fulfilling it! PRAISE POINTS:  

• For the printing of 500 copies in English and 500 copies in Swahili language in Mombasa, Kenya of Rodney’s manual, “School Of The Holy Spirit.” This has been done with Rev. Charles Mwanda and they have all been distributed to Christian Leaders. They are requesting for more copies to be printed.

• For the way the Holy Spirit is using The GFM Ministry in an increasing way in Kenya and East African countries.

• For increasing reports of Christian Leaders and churches using Rodney’s teaching materials in equipping their people.

The GFM E-Mail Ministry is currently being sent into 107  Nations.

PRAYER FOCUS  ~February:

• For the one-week “School of the Supernatural” being held at Eltham, NZ. Pray for Rodney and Len Buttner who are ministering at this School. Pray God’s blessings on Rev. John Wilkie and the “Hawera Presbyterian Church” for their stepping out to host such an event.

• Pray for a greater release of funds to enable us to print more books in different countries. There is a good demand for Rodney’s books in a number of nations.

• Pray for good health for all the voluntary workers within The GFM Ministry. Pray God’s provision for them, and that we all will walk in the discernment, wisdom, and understanding of the Lord.

• Pray for Russell Fyfe (Paraparaumu, NZ) The GFM Treasurer, who does a great job of keeping all the financial side of The GFM Ministry going and in order. Please pray for good health for Russell as well. Our special thanks also to Peter Martin (Gisborne, NZ) for all the help he has given to The GFM Ministry as a financial helper and advisor, etc.
