REPORTS ~ From  KENYA, TANZANIA, and UGANDA

Kenya: It was wonderful to be able to minister with Rodney, Len and the team in Gikomba, Kenya. To bring teaching that not simply equipped the saints, but released them into their God- ordained and called destinies was humbling and awesome at the same time. We never failed to witness God at work through the spoken taught word and confirmed through the spoken prophetic word. Lives were simply transformed and bondages broken in the lives of many individuals. Witchcraft curses were broken, setting people free from demonic powers ~ and that was just the Christians!!!

The conference proved God at His word, that signs and wonders follow the preaching of the word.  Every day as the word of God went forth, whether it is prophetically, taught, preached or uttered to glorify Christ, signs and wonders followed, namely healing, baptisms of the Holy Spirit, deliverances to name but a few. Delegates left the conference on a daily basis and put in practice what they had learned through the ministry. They were like the disciples when returning on subsequent days sharing with great glee and joy the new exploits that God had used them in.  They prophesied, they prayed for the sick and saw them healed, they took authority over demonic powers, they won family members and their friends to Christ, they rose up to their calling in God, they believed that God could use them; they were encouraged. They came back day after day and testified of the glorious things that God had done.

Rodney Francis ministers from a heart of pure love for the saints of God, and his example is one to follow as God uses him to lift the down-trodden and marginalised. Heads were held high as God used the team to restore dignity, respect and honour to many of His wounded sheep. Len Buttner’s teaching on ‘The Discerning of Spirits’ was second-to-none as he taught and demonstrated the power of moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which brought liberty and emancipation to their lives and circumstances.

The United Kingdom and New Zealand Team came together as one; any join was seamless as they lovingly ministered together in unity as they served the Saints of Nairobi.

God gave ‘spiritual gifts’ to the church to grow and bless His church in preparation for His son, the Lord Jesus. Daily there were practical demonstrations and manifestations of the Kingdom of God impacting the lives of His people here on earth ~ Rev. Elaine Roberts (Evangelist and Founder/Director: World Mandate Ministries).

Kenya: Debz (Russell) and I were like little kids and we each had our own little daily phrase to express our joy at being there: mine was “I’m so excited to be here” and hers was, “Thank you for inviting me!” We put our alarms on early so we could meet up with the team at breakfast as the prophetic school was due to start that day and we did not want to be left behind!  I knew that one of the speakers was a man by the name of Len Buttner (www.eagleascend.com) and kept wondering why his name sounded so familiar. I discovered that Len lived a street away from me 15 years ago and attended the same church I used to and not only that he was a good friend of my mentors, Rob and Judy Lindsay. I met Jackie (Hodges), my e-mail friend, and her husband (Dougie) at breakfast, two of the most loving people I have ever met. The love of Jesus just leaks out of them. What a blessing to meet such precious people.

Besides Rodney and Len, the other speaker was Elaine Roberts from the UK, a dynamic lady who had a message in season for Kenya and especially for the women. Each session with each speaker was packed with information and then practical application. I learnt so much and had so many questions answered and began trusting that what I was hearing was not just me. How blessed people are when they are encouraged with a word ~ and how often we deny people that blessing because we are too shy to step out and make the mistake of wondering: is that God or is it just me?

There is so much to tell about this trip and I have been sharing Rodney’s incredible stories with family, friends and my Sunday School class who sat listening with rapt attention to the ‘hit man’ story and the lady with the knives. I just knew they would enjoy those stories. What struck me the most about the teaching and ministry was the generosity of the ministry to us and to all who attended. Everyone is encouraged to prophesy and to build on to what others have said ~ it is not something I have seen or experienced before. When someone prophesies it is usually just one person, but everyone was encouraged to and it was wonderful to see the local people being released to operate in this gift. From day one I felt that this ministry is needed in South Africa and I have asked Rodney and the team to consider coming.

So many memories and so much teaching to digest and cement into my life ~ so many faces that are on my mind and in my heart ~ who I long to see again. On our last night the team graciously prophesied over Debz and I. We were blessed out of our socks! I received confirmation, encouragement and promises. Our God is sooooo good! What was different for me about this trip was that I came away equipped, empowered and with a new confidence that I truly hear from God … and it’s not just me! Praise Him, glorify His name in all the earth! Thank You, Jesus ~ Gaye Moonieya (East London, South Africa).

Kenya and Uganda: Thank you for the opportunity to be able to minister with you in Kenya and Uganda. Some of the highlights for me: the maturity of the team; catching up with Elaine (as we have had the privilege of working with her in the past); also meeting the other ladies from the UK, as they impacted me.  Praise the Lord.  To be used by the Holy Spirit in His gifts is an honour that I respect very much. 

On the Tuesday when God gave me the prophetic instructions for Pastor Alfred (Nyaoro), I nurtured them in my heart, but then to be able to action the same on Thursday, what an honour.  The power associated with the anointing was awesome. As I delivered what the Holy Spirit released, in the area of five-fold ministry, the pulling over of the colourful shirt, the vision I had of the spear or arrow, the significance of each end and its equality. The impact for other people that will be involved with Alfred, together with military ranking associated, along with the responsibility involved. For me it is a matter of wait and see, with excitement of what the Holy Spirit is going to do. I believe the parallel line traveling as long as East is to West, seen in the Spirit relates to itinerant ministry for both Alfred and Moses (Muguro) along with their wives. New Zealand is included.  To be able to minister to members of the team was relevant and vice versa.

Uganda:  Again, it was an honour to be used for impartation, deliverance and healing; the pain in the neck, for example; and the miracles that were received from this. Releasing Florence into five-fold Ministry; Patrick, Charles, George, Lawrence, Christine, Beatrice were all touched with their own miracles as the Spirit led. To be able to anoint and minister amongst the people on the Sunday was once again a delight to be able to use the gifting God has given to me for healing.  The dedication of four babies, the miracles that happened in a hut out in the wilderness, was a MEGA example of the power of the Holy Spirit and the might of the God I love and serve. “Thank You, Jesus!” ~ Joseph Hiestand (Cambridge, New Zealand).

Tanzania: Bwana Yesu asifiwe, Rodney. How are you and Jean doing? I am glad to have known you, and God connecting us to work together. Here is my wife's report about the Arusha meetings: I am Mrs. Christine Robert. I thank God for The GFM ministry and the team. I thank God also for my lovely husband, Robert Elijah Nyongesa, for connecting us with this team, God bless you all. The team that came to Arusha was a blessing to me: God spoke to me through them that I should not despise a humble beginning; after the team left, God spoke to me personally that He has come through this team to dedicate us officially in the ministry of apostleship and prophecy in the city of Arusha. He told me the people of Tanzania could not do that because they didn't understand us; but now through The GFM God has revealed us to them. I feel very much comforted and strong and strengthened once more to continue under a new anointing; The GFM is a ‘Barnabas’ to us, especially in our church. Our members are very much strengthened and have started a new work in Christ; one of our praise and worship leader’s is now prophesying in tongues and another one is interpreting; this was not there before but now the church is full of the Holy Spirit of God. God spoke through Len Buttner that the people who left the church will come back, surely it has come to pass ~ within one week three of them came back. God spoke also through the team that I will have an orphanage centre; already two children have been brought to me but they are still with their relatives because I have no place to let them stay with us. Please pray for me that I may get funds to make a home for these orphans. Thank you very much, God bless The GFM Team ~ Mrs. Robert (Arusha, Tanzania).

Tanzania: Personally I felt honoured to co-ordinate the Arusha meetings and I thank the team that came. We really flowed together well while ministering together. Every one of the team was used uniquely and in a mighty way by God. We ministered to about 150 (in total) effectively and I felt like Peter who told Jesus, “Let us make three tents here; one for Jesus, Moses and Elijah.” Many pastors received prophetic messages that really transformed their lives, Many of them were shedding tears of joy after being ministered to and I will be forwarding their testimonies to you soon. I was also ministered to prophetically, and am now thankful to God for His confirmation about my Prophetic and Apostolic ministry before many people and fellow pastors. Also our daughter (Peace Robert) received prophetic messages about her call; and all the prophecies and words spoken over her life were very true and precise. Our family and ministry will never be the same again. Many people that attended are looking forward to having the team back again to Arusha. The best is yet to come for those who believe. Tanzania: Personally I thank God for The GFM Team from New Zealand and how God used them in a mighty way to encourage me, revive me by speaking into my life with great exactness and accuracy to the extent that I felt like I was stripped naked before everybody. Let me share a little bit of my personal reflection before I proceed with my testimony so that you may be able to connect the two pieces together. My husband and I have been married for 20 years now. God spoke to our lives great things and that He would use us, not only in our nation, but also in other nations as well. In the process (since the time He spoke) we have been through the furnace of fire, this includes living barely with nothing, being misunderstood by our fellow gospel ministers, scandalized, despised ~ though on the other hand we see an evident manifestation of the Holy Spirit presence in our lives and ministry. Because of these tough situations we went through sometimes I experienced being hurt inwardly, confused and became weary and losing passion for the ministry. God have mercy!

However, when the New Zealand team came, it was amazing to receive the ministry through the word by Len and thereafter the prophetic word from the team and rest of the people at the seminar. The words delivered by Len, Doug and Lily were cutting through my soul and I had no where to hide. The Lord encouraged me to say I will be a leader among women to raise them up to a place of worthiness. I have a gift of healing for the oppressed, ministry of healing and that (along with my husband) we will reach many lives and bring them to the kingdom. With great sense of awe and fear we take this call before God to fulfill it. I am very much looking forward to seeing you again in Arusha to build the Kingdom of God. God bless you. Tanzania: God is Real! The Holy Spirit is Real! I want to first of all thank God for His faithfulness and mercy to send The GFM Team to Arusha. It was a divine appointment for you all to come, and to be very accurate, you came just for me. I testify that God used you mightily to speak to me. All of you spoke accurately; you really heard the voice of the Lord perfectly. I was very much encouraged to the point I fought back my tears all the time of ministry. My wife and I responded to the call of God for years now. God used many other people from USA and within to confirm our calling through prophetic words. But now you people I have never met with you all of my life and from the uttermost part of the globe you came. I had not shared a word with you, neither with Ps. Robert what our plans are; however, in the absence of all this information about me, you just poured forth the mind of the Lord to me. And it confirmed all that was spoken to me and my wife, as if not enough, you covered everything that we had gone through ~ a furnace of fire. The Lord said through one of you, “We have been tried and passed the test. The time has come and is to arise and shine.” He said he has given me wisdom, knowledge and understanding, the gift of discernment, healing in my hands, much more about speaking to people in higher positions in the government. Reaching the other nations, and the Lord has called me as a pastor of pastors and that I will help many church leaders and they will look at us (my wife and I) as an example. He continued to say that I am a man of authority and that I speak without compromise the word of God, etc. Truly it was a momentous and amazing time to have you all.

On Sunday we had Russell (Mackay) in our service; it was awesome. He preached his heart out as if to thousands of souls, yet we just a handful. He encouraged us to launch out into the deep (Luke 5:1-4). And he encouraged everyone present with a personal word from God. Thank you all Bro, Len (Buttner), Doug. (Hodges), Lily (Sinke), Jill (Clark), Kingsley (Morris), Russell (Mackay), Barbara (Carston), Viti (Taylor). We love you ~ you are so dear to us! God bless you mightily ~ Pastor Silas Mayunga.

Tanzania: Personally God has spoken to me concerning my burdens. I have decided to repent and hand over my burdens to Jesus. My wife God spoke to her about her ministry of encouraging pastors ~ she was telling me that we need to add more effort in visiting churches in the villages and to encourage pastors, then suddenly the team from New Zealand came and told me and told her about her ministry even before three days had passed after she had talked to me. Concerning our church, after Viti (Taylor) ministered on Sunday, people responded positively and now there is revival. People are coming to church to pray and intercede. The following week 3 people prophesied in the church ~ one lady came and told us that we need to pray as a church, because the enemy has planned evil, something that was not normal. Now in the church this week we have people praying day and night. There is an environment of humility now among church members. May God bless your ministry and continue to pray for us ~ Pastor Jasper (Arusha, Tanzania).

We had a great time in Arusha (Tanzania); many leaders were  impacted by the ministry time. The team ministered very well and worked in unity and were a great blessing to the people and we hope to hear of the fruit of changed lives. Robert (Nyongesa) was pleased with the result and the impact on the pastors of Arusha and those who attended the conference. In time we hope to hear more about the full impact of the ministry in the city; there is a strong influence of Islam in the city and I could sense the opposition at times during ministry and the effect on the leaders; most of them were discouraged. We had a great day of ministry with each leader and were able to break off strong-holds and negative words spoken over their lives. A number of the leaders were delivered from rejection and spirit of control/witchcraft over their lives, and much inner healing took place.

I would like to thank you for the encouragement to go on this trip and for the sponsorship that I received through The GFM to go on this African mission trip. I enjoyed the Nairobi conference as well and believe that this was an anointed time in God and the Holy Spirit was manifested among us. What a blessing to be in His presence and to see lives changed to the glory of our Lord Jesus. Rodney, thank you. I enjoyed ministering with you and the team. May the fruit be long lasting and may the people be impact in Nairobi, Kenya and Arusha, Tanzania in these end times. Rodney Francis is a very brave man. To take 31 people from three nations (who mostly did not know each other) on a missions trip on the other side of the world, is a bold step, but one thing observed by our African hosts was the unity of the team. It was a real testimony to the greatness of God to unite people together.

Many lives were changed! I don’t think there is a person on the team who wouldn’t say they are different because of the trip. I personally have grown in boldness (I was able to witness to Muslims on the way home) and in confidence in Spiritual Gifts. The biggest change for me, I believe, will be the enablement to release others. I have been in ‘seasons’ of being prophetically active for the last 13 years, but have had little idea on how to empower others in the prophetic. Over the past three weeks I have seen person after person pick up their prophetic mantle, and I have come home with a sense of direction from God ~ I believe I now have keys and strategy and feel led by the Holy Spirit to move into a season of training, equipping and releasing others in Spiritual Gifts. As a pastor, I believe these Prophetic Equipping Schools in Africa will have a major impact on our church in Picton, as we will become more and more a prophetic people.

A continent has been impacted! I personally had three opportunities to do the thing that brings me the greatest joy ~ to pray with people as they enter the Kingdom  of God (all three are connected with local pastors for follow-up). As well as salvation, healing and deliverance, I saw other ‘Holy Spirit make-overs’ before my eyes ~ two of which will stand out are two separate people who were bound in bitterness, who came to a place of forgiving others. I later heard these two people speak of the peace in their hearts because they have forgiven those who have hurt them ~ that’s a miracle!

Prophecy is not a ‘spectator sport’! As I have seen people released I have seen the potential that God’s people have to do some serious damage to the enemy and the kingdom of darkness.

I thank Rodney for the opportunity, and give all the glory to God as I can truly say I have had three weeks of seeing daily miracles ~ Kingsley Morris (Team Member and Pastor, Picton Baptist Church, New Zealand).

The just concluded Prophetic Equipping School in Nairobi, Kenya, brought about enormous seasons of refreshing in the Prophetic ministry to the body of Jesus Christ in Nairobi, Kenya. This was a conference of its kind that brought light and freedom especially to women who have been subjugated and intimidated even when they have known that the call of God is upon their lives. Witnessing one of their kind and Rodney’s personal testimony of His wife’s endurance in the ministry was a great encouragement that has not been witnessed here in Kenya and especially for the women are now set free to serve the Lord. This time around the International Training Conference in Nairobi, Kenya, was a ‘Holy Ghost energizing’ experience with Kenyan believers becoming equipped to flowing with great freedom in the
Prophetic and the conference build-up from the previous International Training School which brought about a sweet flow in the Prophetic. This conference in Kenya was divinely placed at the right time and at the right place. I witnessed people who had never stepped into the prophetic move in the same without fear, blessing others freely with the joy of the Holy
Spirit.  The training encouraged and permitted the believers in Kenya to step out of their cocoon and step with faith and love into the prophetic arena ~ bringing forth sweet prophetic utterances that blessed many.  Every believer who attended the meeting was accepted and
recognized as somebody in the body of Christ with a mandate to flow in the prophetic.
In the conference there were healings and deliverance that were experienced, and prisoners released from witchcraft and sorcery.  We witnessed breakthrough after breakthrough and the seasons of refreshing from the Holy Spirit. The ministers shared their own personal testimonies and challenges that they have overcome in their ministries (which was a great encouragement to many pastors). Up until now I can attest to the sweet flow of the Prophetic ministry inside my spirit, and this is what has happened to the body of Jesus Christ here in Kenya after Rodney’s ministry. It seems there was a ‘prophetic fire match stick’ that was waiting to be lit in Kenya, and Rodney and the team were used of the Lord to light this fire match stick that is becoming a wildfire flowing from one place to another. I recall last Sunday when one sister in the Lord, who was not only stirred to flow in the Prophetic, but healed completely of sickness (during the meetings) that had affected her bone structure. When the time for church Sunday testimonies time came, she was up front with a burning-fired testimony of the Holy Spirit work on her life and what the Lord had done in her life. Wanjiru from Utawala PEFA church shared how she has witnessed the healing and the prophetic flow inside her life and promised that she will continually spread that fire and the release in the Spirit to other people in the market place and outside the church, and she stirred the church to believe for the impossible.

Rodney and The GFM team have left tremendous prophetic mark and blessings to the church here in Kenya, as they allowed the Lord to use them to stir up the church of Kenya to rise up into her  prophetic position and destiny ~ and let the prophetic gift  flow and bless others within limitless boundaries. Rodney and The GFM team poured into the African church, not only the timely prophetic message, but also their precious lives. Their lives and the unity in the spirit spoke volumes to the church leadership in Africa, and The GFM Team ministered with a lot of love that emanated from the Holy Spirit. The total registered attendance in the conference was about 400 people on average. Thank you Rodney and GFM Team for blessing the African church with your lives and the stirring up into the prophetic.  You left a big mark in our lives, and we are excited of what the Holy Spirit is doing in Kenya. Hello man of God. I must say I was so much blessed to have come to your recent conference here in Nairobi. This is a great ministry and I thank God for you and the team. Please keep me posted of what God is doing over the world. I love you and pray for you.

I am filled with thanks because of what I got from The GFM Prophetic Equipping School that you conducted in Nairobi (Kenya) in the week of 9th-14th August, 2010. After having attended the two previous similar schools in Kenya and having gone through the bible Correspondence Courses to completion I got into this year's conference to graduate  and get into working in the same kind of ministry aimed at discipling and equipping Christian leaders. I was amazed at how I found the school very important and useful to me and the entire Christian body. Christianity is and will remain hollow if it is without the manifestation of the Holy Spirit's power, gifts and fruits. It is no wonder that many people have become bored by the usual routines and schedules of many churches where one can even predict what will happen in any Sunday service. The school gave us the missing ingredients that would make any church attractive for everyone to desire to be in church at every time. It was wonderful to see how God used Rodney, Len and Elaine to stir and explain how the Holy Spirit can work in every person. I thought I would be at my best (basing on my past experience) but I got humbled by how everyone in the school got used in the demonstration of working of the Holy Spirit. This school is a must to all Christians in every church. It is just wonderful to observe that God sees and talks to His people as friends, and He uses ordinary people to prophesy truths that made many get into tears when they heard their hurting wounds revealed and their future lighted to reflect what they needed to do to bring their calling into fruit. One person (who did not know me or what I was going through) came to me and told me about heaviness I had in my heart how God is lifting it so that I will be able to get into His work with all enthusiasm. The lady did not know that I had lost my son last month and therefore still in grief, and I was praying that I get out of the sorrowful situation to get into what God wanted me to do. I did get persuaded to speak to one of the speakers about a picture I saw in which I was holding out a cup to her to fill. I feared that this was suggesting borrowing which is embarrassing but I decided to speak it out to her.  When I told her about it she gave me some of her books and among them a pamphlet that briefed about her work. Looking at the pamphlet I was attracted to a house she was polishing for her work and God whispered to me about having a similar house. In that night I prayed about it and God showed me a friend who would provide me a house and when I rang him to ask about the house he told me he was waiting for the request and he gladly told me to use it at an affordable rent. I was amazed, amazed, amazed! This house is conveniently near my home and it has electricity, water, a big hall, two small halls, a kitchen and 14 rooms with beds for lodging.
As I said earlier, this kind of school is what every Christian needs that we may have a perfect body of Christ to stand in these last days. I dropped the idea of graduating and vowed to continue learning in it and to put into practice every truth I get in the prophecies. I was moved by all messages and mostly the one about love which we should all practice to draw many into God's Kingdom. Without it our Christian faith is just nothing. I am praying to God that He teaches me on how to love people and make the church filled with loving people. The team demonstrated a lot of love to all of us and we were left challenged to have the same for divine connections. I am now working with a group that had the training to make a team that will practice and demonstrate the great truths we have received from this Ministry. We take The GFM Ministry as our own, and we will be praying that it prospers to reach the whole church in the world. I am overwhelmed by God's love which drove me into this Ministry.
