NEVER  THE  SAME  AGAIN!

There is no limit to what can happen in our lives when God is in control.  The same God of the Holy Bible is the same God who transforms people’s hearts and lives today.  How inspiring it is to read of men and women whose lives were so dramatically changed when they turned to the Lord with all their hearts.

One of those characters, Moses - who had committed murder and was a “criminal on the run” - became a man whom, thousands of years later, is still seen as one of the greatest leaders in the history of this world.  Moses was just an ordinary man until the day he touched the presence of God and was forever changed.  When the Lord appeared to him in the burning bush (Exodus 3) his life was never the same again. Suddenly, all Moses’ failures and disappointments were a thing of the past; his eyes had new vision; God had “painted” a great calling in his spirit that would consume his life from that day forward.

In the thousands of years that have passed since the time of Moses, God has never changed,  “For I am the Lord, I change not” (Malachi 3:6).  He still calls to us today.  He has plans for our lives that can only be achieved through abiding in His presence.  He stills transforms ordinary people into extraordinary people through the power of His love.  How amazing that such a holy, awesome God could be so personally committed to every one of us as individuals, that He has a plan mapped out for every one of us in this life.

“I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for. Then you will call to Me. You will come and pray to Me, and I will answer you” (Jeremiah 29: 11-12, GNB).

“And you shall seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13, MKJV).

  • He knows us by name.
  • He knows YOU intimately!
  • His plans for YOUR life were made long ago.
  • Have you made the change, like Moses did, to step into His presence and be changed forever?
  • Does your life evolve around His good plans for YOU?

The Lord had chosen Israel to be His people, but, when they turned their backs on His plans, they became slaves for many long years in the land of Egypt.  And nothing happened to change their circumstances until the day Moses touched the presence of God.  The obedience of one man brought deliverance to a whole nation.

When the Lord our God touches our lives on the inside, transforming us to be the man or woman He fashioned us to be, then we too can achieve great things to bring honour and glory to His name, and we will never be the same again.   To have the God Who created this universe living on the inside of us is nothing short of a miracle.  But, add to that the fact that He works His power through us, then we truly can come to the realisation that we really are a chosen people who can, like Moses, make a difference in this world.
