Jesus Is The Way

It’s never a pleasant experience to get lost. We probably even get irritated when we take a wrong turn on the highway because we failed to read the map.  Taking the right road is important if we want to get to the right destination.  What signpost are you following as you journey through life?  Does it read HEAVEN (via Jesus) or does it read HELL (through choice!)?

Have you found that pathway via Jesus, that road known as THE WAY?  It’s not found on the beaten track where many of humanity walk blindly to their destruction.  In fact the Bible tells us it’s a narrow WAY and has only one entrance.  Listen to how Jeremiah and Matthew put it so plainly . . . “Thus says Jehovah: Behold I set before you THE WAY of LIFE, and THE WAY of DEATH” (Jeremiah 21:8, ASV).

“Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way. But the Gateway to Life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it” (Matthew 7:13-14).

  • ·         We are going to need a map so we don’t get lost!

   Where is that narrow gate?

That narrow gate is found when we repent and call upon the name of the Lord.

That narrow gate spoken of in the Bible is our map of THE WAY.

It shows us THE WAY to eternal life and it begins NOW.

  • ·         We are going to need a Person to let us enter through the gate!

   Who is that narrow gate?

That narrow gate is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. Jesus said:

“I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture (John 10:9, ISV).

Be sure to follow THE WAY - Jesus. He clearly taught us that He is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE, and no one, (no matter whom, be they a king or a pauper), will be able to approach or come to God except through Him (refer John 14:6).  That’s why Jesus said THE WAY is narrow.  There are no shortcuts!  There are no substitute maps!  He tells it like it is and does it like He says!!
