JESUS  CHRIST,  OUR  LIVING  HOPE

Don’t be fazed by the headlines!

Don’t be downcast because evil appears to be prevailing!

Jesus Christ is our living hope, and, despite the fact that our world is growing more evil by the hour, Jesus will appear right on time, just as He promised.  There is absolutely no evil force that can hinder the Lord from fulfilling His Word.  Without a shadow of doubt, He is coming again for those who love and trust in Him.

Mankind has become so focused on “global warming”, believing he can reverse the weather patterns, but totally ignoring the fact that our greatest need is submitting to a loving God and accepting the salvation that He so freely offers.  That is something we can take some action on!  We have the wonderful opportunity to put our faith and trust in the Lord, taking advantage of His amazing gift to us of salvation.

It is for sure that “global warming” will reach its most severe temperature when a man or woman is cast into hell, where the fire can never be extinguished and the heat will never subside.  But this is not God’s will for us.  Hell was created for the devil, Satan, and his fleet of evil spirits.  Hell is described in Mark 9:46 as the place where worms never die and the fire is not quenched.

No wonder Christians all around the world rejoice in the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ has made a way of escape from that terrible end-of-line destination.  His sole purpose for coming to this earth was to take the sins of the whole world upon Himself, so that, through believing in Him, we could escape the punishment awaiting those who reject Him as the Messiah, Lord and Saviour.

Is your hope firmly fixed in Jesus Christ, the ONLY ONE who can give us peace in spite of the turmoil of this world?  It is HE ALONE who will determine where we spend eternity.  The beautiful fact is that because He willingly went to the Cross for every one of us, every one of us now have the wonderful opportunity to place our hope and trust in Him, the Saviour of the world.

Have you called upon His name – the name of Jesus Christ?

Speak His name lovingly, and His presence will be right there with you . . . NOW!

When we yield ourself to Him there is nothing that can separate us from His love. His love penetrates the darkest corners, the deepest pits, and the highest mountains.  Nothing, no nothing can separate us from the love of Christ (see Romans 8:38-39).
